The three main categories are melasma (hormonally triggered pigmentation), inflammatory pigmentation and sun damage (caused by excessive sun exposure) .

Some pigmentation such as sun spots are easily treated by 3-4 sessions with our Pastelle Laser, Fraxel Clear and Brilliant Laser or IPL (Intense Pulse Light). However others are more deep seated and require multiple peel or laser treatments such as melasma and poikiloderma. We recommend our clients to come in for a skin consultation if concerned with any type of pigmentation for correct diagnoses and treatment plan recommendation.
